04 What health testing do you do on the parent dogs?

Absolutely — we welcome video calls and, when timing allows, in-person visits so you can meet the parents, see how the puppies are raised, and ask questions in person.

07 Do you deliver puppies, or is pickup required?

We offer both. Many families pick up locally, and we can also arrange safe, tracked delivery or a pet-approved flight nanny for those farther away — just ask what's available for your area.

08 Are Shih Tzus good with children and other pets?

Generally, yes. Shih Tzus are known for being sturdy, sociable, and patient, which makes them a popular choice for families with kids and homes with other dogs or cats.

09 How much grooming does a Shih Tzu puppy need?

Their long double coat needs brushing a few times a week to prevent mats, plus a trim every 6–8 weeks. Many owners choose a shorter "puppy cut" to cut down on daily upkeep.

10 Do Shih Tzus shed a lot?

Not much. Shih Tzus have hair rather than a heavy shedding coat, so they're often a comfortable choice for households that are sensitive to loose fur, though regular grooming is still a must.

11 What are the puppies eating, and should I switch food?

We'll send you home with a feeding schedule and a small supply of what your puppy is already used to. If you plan to switch foods, do it gradually over 7–10 days to avoid tummy upset.

12 Are the puppies vaccinated and dewormed before pickup?

Yes. Every puppy is on an age-appropriate vaccination and deworming schedule, vet-checked, and sent home with a full record so your vet can pick up right where we left off.

13 Do you microchip your puppies?

Yes, every puppy is microchipped before going home, and we walk you through registering the chip in your name so your puppy is protected from day one.

14 How much exercise does a Shih Tzu need?

Not much compared to most breeds. A couple of short walks a day plus some indoor play is usually enough to keep a Shih Tzu happy, healthy, and at a good weight.

15 What support do you offer after I bring my puppy home?

Our relationship doesn't end at pickup. We're just an email away for questions on feeding, training, grooming, or anything else that comes up during your puppy's first months at home.
